Subtle Solutions with ETAP’s Tiar Linear Downlight

Taking note of the round conventional downlights, ETAP has presented a new way to illuminate your interiors with the refreshing look of Tiar’s downlights. Tiar utilizes linear shapes and round cup optics with ETAP’s effective LED+LENS technology to provide great illumination and comfort whilst offering a playful and stylish look to interior spaces. The slim metal housing with texture paint, recessed lenses and flawful high-quality finish makes Tiar versatile; effective in corridors, washrooms, meeting rooms, breakrooms and reception areas with UGR <19 and <22 options and three different beam spread options.

With ETAP’s LED+LENS technology, the Tiar ensures high performance and comfortable lighting through the combination of high-power LEDs and individual lenses. The lenses have targeted light distribution and are recessed in small cups whilst shielding LEDs to provide a comfortable light experience. The perfect finishes creates a convincing and subtle final touch.

One of the best aspects of ETAP products is its ease of installation. The Tiar is assembled with screws only – using no glue or welding. Even the driver is screwed and not riveted, meaning that past its service life the driver can even be replaced. To watch the 100 second installation video, click here.

The Tiar has a LLMF of 94% after 50,000 hours; meaning that it will still provide 94% of its original output even after 50,000 hours of use. This is because ETAP prides on using quality drivers and LEDs with long service life and our confidence is shown in our five year warranty including driver.

Currently ETAP provides the Tiar in black and white, with a 6 LED linear configuration and an option to have square or rounded ends. In December there will be more options with a 3 LED and 9 LED linear configuration available, with more colour options for housing and cups. The next wave [date TBA] will publish surface-mount and suspended ranges.

The Tiar range is available here or see the Tiar documentation here. Contact Bluelab Design to see how this can be used in your next project.
